Shelter Leaders Unite brings together directors, managers, and key staff from shelters across Indiana to share practical tools that improve leadership, daily care, operations, and advocacy for animals.
By attending, you help the Indiana Coalition of Animal Welfare understand your shelter’s realities—intake, staffing, policy hurdles—so we can continue to coordinate resources, training, and statewide support that keeps animals safer and treatment more humane.
Your insight shapes our shared agenda for animal welfare in Indiana.
There will be an opportunity for attendees to tour both shelters in the area. Once you have selected your ticket for the event, please make sure to include the tours so we can ensure shelter staff are aware of how many visitors to expect.
IACS Tour: 8:30-10:00am
Conference Check-in: 9:30-10:45am
Welcome/Panel w/lunch: 11am-12:15pm
Consecutive Sessions: Two topics will be offered at each time

Indy Humane Tour: 4:45-6:15pm
