Shel has recorded their first EP ‘Give Em’ Shel’ and the bands want YOU there to celebrate, dance the release! This new five piece band, lead by Shel Prince features Josh Ilram on guitar, Connor Mctavish on Bass, Cello, and harmonies, Andrew Bryan on Violin and Keys and Jordan Becker on drums. August 22, 2026 at Nanaimo’s newest venue, 21 Nicol Street, there will be music, food, drinks, a photo booth and giveaways. The band has partnered up with local brewery White Sails Brewery to release a special edition of their blond ale only to be sold at this event! This is an indoor and outdoor event, opening with local band Blunder Brothers and closing with DJ pushing the party late into the night.
Prize for best dressed, theme is folk-pop (working on theme name)! Think flowy and pink, Flannels and sparkles, Simon and Garkunkle with Shinia Twain, Bowlow ties and mini skirts. Sierra Ferrell and Boy Golden.
