SheJumps x AK Cycle Chic | Group Bike Ride | AK

Join SheJumps and AK Cycle Chic for an evening of mountain biking, community, and fun on the Hillside Trails.

Come ride, connect, and build community with fellow women and non-binary mountain bikers on this social-paced group ride. We'll enjoy plenty of breaks along the way, and depending on the number of participants, we may split into two groups to ensure everyone has a great experience. 

This ride is best suited for intermediate riders who are comfortable riding at a steady pace, tackling small obstacles, navigating loose dirt, and climbing moderate hills. Expect fun, flowy descents and trails that require basic bike-handling skills. 

This is a no-drop ride, meaning we'll stay together as a group and ride at the pace of the slowest participant. A designated sweeper will ride at the back so no one gets left behind.

Ride Details:

● Meeting Location: Enter Hilltop Ski Area from Hillside Drive and continue straight through the parking lot, passing the ski chalet and chairlifts on your right. We'll meet at the Hilltop Trailhead, located at the far end of the parking lot on the left. Look for the grassy trail entrance with the posted trail map and portable restroom.

● Distance: Approximately 7–9 miles

● Ride Time: 1–1.5 hours

● Required Gear: Helmet, water, spare tube, and a mountain bike in good working condition

• Restrooms at Hilltop are close by and they are gendered.

Since this is a free event to register for, you can cancel at any time in your Eventbrite account. Please cancel your registration at least 3 days ahead of the event so we have adequate time to fill your spot with folks on the waitlist.
