About this Event
Join us in Adams, MA for a Mount Graylock hike on April 26th!
Let’s gather the last weekend of April to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views that Mount Greylock has to offer.
Hike Details: We will be meeting at the Cheshire Harbor Trailhead at 9am sharp! The Greylock Hike will be about 7 miles round trip and approximately 2100 ft elevation gain. This is a moderate to strenuous hike hike. We will take it slow and steady and take breaks as needed! This hike typically takes about 5 hours but this could vary based on conditions, hiking speed, and how long we want to spend enjoying the views.

What to Bring: Plenty of water and snacks (provided by you), layers that you can shed if needed (moisture-wicking fabrics are best!), shoes with traction suitable for hiking (athletic sneakers, hiking shoes or boots, etc.), sunscreen, bug spray, any other hiking gear you use (poles, backpack, buff, sun hoodie, etc.). SheJumps will bring a basic first aid kit, participants should bring any life-saving Medic*tion they may need. Check the weather and temperature the day of and dress accordingly!
Weather: In the event of rain, a thunderstorm, or otherwise unsafe hiking conditions, the hike will tentatively be rescheduled for Sunday, April 27th at 9:00am.
Who can attend? We welcome all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event.We welcome all ages to attend this event, however minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the hike.
Cost: Free!
FAQ's & Other Event Information
Parking and getting to the event: There is plenty of free parking at the trailhead. Although there aren't any public transportation options for this event, we encourage you to invite a friend and carpool if you can!
Facility information: There are no restrooms available at this trail. Participants should come prepared for no bathroom access for the duration of the event.
Accessibility information: This trail is not an ADA trail. The trail will consist of uneven, variable terrain.
