Sheila Barry Best Canadian Picturebook Award Fall Tea

Join VCLR as we spend an afternoon celebrating the Winner and Finalists of the 2025 Sheila Barry Best Canadian Picturebook Award!

The event will take place at the University Golf Club with doors opening at 1:00pm. There will be delicious afternoon tea with sweet and savoury treats, a video presentation by Julie Flett, the author of the winning book Let's Go! / haw êkwa! and a silent auction fundraiser.

We will also be presenting the Ron Jobe Scholarship and paying tribute to Norma Charles, a dear friend and longtime colleague who recently passed.

It will be a memorable afternoon to celebrate, share stories, and catch up with friends.

This event is open to all VCLR members. You can renew your membership when you purchase your ticket to this event.
