Italy doesn't just make cheese, it has created definitive masterpieces that stand as monuments to a glorious way of life. Italy is known for simply stunning ingredients, wonderful wines and globally significant recipes - Pizza? Pasta? Italy has defined delicious for centuries. 

With a cheese industry so influential we have not just chosen some classic Italians, but looked around to find cheeses from elsewhere that have taken inspiration from this awesome source of cheesy goodness. 

We’re exploring the incredible edible ripple effect Italian traditions have had on the modern cheesemaking world.

There’ll be the heavy hitters, unctuous, creamy funk,  stunningly complex, crystalline punch of a big wheels, sultry blues, awesome alpines… 

It’s a celebration of heritage, innovation, and that unmistakable Italian flair for making everything taste like a holiday - with a twist! 

As usual it’s EIGHT CHEESES plus all the trimmings. 

NB Not all cheese will be vegetarian or pasteurised. 

Info: Get here nice and early, grab some drinks and look at all the wonderful cheese!

Info: As soon as we call CHEESE - you help yourself... there's bread and crackers, with fruit and chutney too!

Info: Fill your plates - remember the RULE OF THUMB - take a piece of each cheese about the size of your thumb, that way everyone get a fair go, and you don't end up with leftover cheese...

Info: Fill out your Tasting Sheets - you can make a few notes, but do SCORE each cheese out of 10!

Info: We tell you all about the cheese and reveal where each cheese comes from! We will also announce the winner for that night - all the votes will be added across all our events and a Grand Winner announced at the end of the month.
