From Listening to Action: Building Community-Led Governance for Race Equality
About this Event

Building on the findings of the first Sheffield People's Assembly on Race Equality, this second Assembly is the next phase of a growing community-led democratic process to address systemic race inequality through participation, accountability and collective action.
The first Assembly raised strong concerns around education, health inequalities, policing, economic exclusion, representation and institutional accountability. Phase Two moves from listening to action — bringing together residents, grassroots organisations, young people, institutions and civic leaders to deliberate on priorities for the next 6–18 months, and to help build a Sheffield Race Equality Community Assembly Council.
Organised in partnership with Operation Black Vote, The Humanity Project and Ellesmere Children's Centre.
Registration: free, standard Eventbrite sign-up, same as last time.
