Sheetrocking and Taping (two-part workshop)

Two-Part Class, Saturday January 11 and Saturday Janurary 18, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Sheetrocking and taping is a skill that will benefit virtually all homeowners, whether you are building a new wall or repairing an old one. This class includes how to measure and cut drywall, apply it to studs, and tape and compound the joints for a smooth finish surface. Patching existing walls will also be shown. Through demonstrations and some hands-on experience, you will learn how to make your walls look their best. Participants should wear work clothes. Participants must enroll in both Parts 1 and 2.

Instructor Frank Harris is the owner of Drywall Plus, a sheetrocking and taping company serving Greater Boston since 1988. In addition to extensive experience in sheetrocking, Frank is skilled in light interior framing and painting and is a licensed construction supervisor.

Workshop Policies

Payment must be made at the time of registration through Eventbrite. If you are unable to attend and wish to cancel your registration, you may do so through Eventbrite, under the following conditions:

1. If at least one week (seven days) or more before the class, we will refund half the cost of the class.
2. All other cancellations are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Only those who are registered will be able to attend the workshop (no unregistered companions). Contact us if you need reasonable accommodations.

Audio or video recording of workshops is not allowed.

Photo/Video Consent and General Release

By registering for this class, I hereby authorize Boston Building Resources to use pictures of me (or my child/ward) taken in a photograph, digital image, videotape, motion picture, and/or testimonial (written words). The undersigned hereby releases Boston Building Resources, its agents or employees, as well as any and all users and exhibitors of said pictures, from any and all claims, demands, accountings, and causes for which the aforesaid videotape, testimonial, motion picture, digital image, or photograph likeness may be used pursuant to this Consent and General Release. It is also my understanding that I will receive no compensation for my likeness or testimonial. If I opt out, I will inform staff at the registration desk before class stating that I do not want to be in photos.
