Sheep and Goat Workshop

Join us for a Sheep and Goat workshop in partnership with Pike, Lawrence, Johnson, Wise (VA), Dickenson (VA) and Buchanan (VA) counties. The workshop will be hosted at the Pike County Extension office and will include a meal. Registration is required. SEKSPA is asking for a $10 donation per family (no matter the family size), and that also gives you a membership with SEKSPA. That said, no one will be turned away for financial reasons! The meal will be served first, then SEKSPA will give an intro to shepherding in KY and provide an industry update. Then we will hear from Dr. Jessie Lay, UK Extension Animal Health Veterinarian, about maintaining sheep and goat health.
