Dear one, I invite you to join me on a ritual, soul expedition, peeling away the layers of societal roles to connect deeper with the essence of who you truly are. In a world where we often define ourselves through titles, responsibilities, and expectations, it's easy to lose sight of our authentic selves. Some of us have a practice of deepening our connection to self each day, to others it might sound more novel. Wherever you are on this path, you're welcome on this journey. I believe it's an ongoing lifelong path where our relationship to ourselves can become deeper and deeper.
As the moon wanes and the darkness envelops us, we find alignment with the natural cycles of introspection and renewal. The recent dark moon will offer us the perfect backdrop for delving into the depths of our souls, reconnecting with our wisdom and intuition.
Step into the mystical realm of ancient Mesopotamian mythology as we embark on a transformative workshop inspired by the legendary tale of Inanna's descent to the underworld. In this sacred gathering, you are invited to explore the depths of your being and embark on a journey of shedding layers of yourself, just as Inanna did on her mythic quest for wisdom and renewal.
The journey will involve a series of storytelling, contemplative practices, symbolic enactments inspired by the archetypal journey of Inanna.
We'll begin this journey with a combination of cacao, movement, and breath. Cacao, the ancient plant medicine of the heart, will assist in opening the gates of this inner voyage, facilitating a deeper connection with ourselves and others in the circle. Movement and breath will gently guide us into a state of presence, shedding the external distractions that often veil our innermost truths.
Our journey will unfold with the sharing of Inanna's myth, leading into reflective journaling, exploring the parallels between Inanna's journey and our own, inviting insights to illuminate our path.
As we transition into the next phase, we will embody the ritual inspired by Inanna's descent. Through sacred ceremony, we will honour the alchemy of transformation, surrendering to the mystery of rebirth.

About your facilitator:
Marania is a trauma informed holistic health practitioner who cares deeply about exploring embodied paths to growth, transformation, remembrance of one's true essence and breaking intergenerational and ancestral patterns of trauma, pain and dysfunction. A jungle kid from the South Pacific, Marania's connection to nature and it's mysteries is contagious. She loves sharing about the wisdom of womb cycles, seasons and the moon with female-bodied people and those who love them.
Her work in the world re-introduces humans to their true nature using Energywork, Bodywork, Wombwork, Yoga, Breathwork, Somatic practices, Dance, Ceremony and Storytelling to connect with and remember the forgotten parts of ourselves.
