Join us for a FREE engaging and informative shED Talk at the Watershed Nature Center!Join Terry Menz from Riverbed Astronomy Club, discussing how light pollution affects our wildlife, health, and our ability to appreciate the natural beauty of the night sky. Through an interactive demonstration, you will learn simple steps to reduce light pollution in our communities to protect our environment and how to participate in the GLOBE at Night Campaign to collect information on light pollution. The presentation will be followed by a night sky observing session of the Perseid Meteor Shower.

This event is limited to 20 seats and all ages are welcomed (This talk is great for younger children). All shED Talks are held inside the Watershed Welcome Center. Some demonstrations may include optional outdoor experiences (weather permitting).
