Course Distance: 250 METER SWIM – 8 MILE BIKE – 2 MILE RUN
Swim:
The swim takes place in the beautiful outdoor pool at the Clemmons West Recreational Association. Swimmers will be self seeded according to the swim ability chart. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with lining up for the swim. You will be provided with a swim cap if you choose to wear it. After the swim, you'll experience the exhilaration of exiting the pool to the sound of cheers as you make your way to the transition area, located in the grass fields just outside of the pool area.

Bike:
This 1-loop bike course will take athletes onto quiet suburban streets and give a sense of wide open road riding just minutes from downtown Winston-Salem. Yes, there are hills, but you can do this!
After cautiously going downhill on Verhoeff Drive, riders will turn right and head north on Statesville Road. The bike course then goes along Mt. Holly/Huntersville Road into the Julian Clark business park. Upon exiting the business park, athletes will ride along McCoy Road and then Hambright Road, Mt. Holly Huntersville Rd and Alexandria Rd before returning back to Statesville Road to complete the loop. Be sure to push the pedals hard as you ride up the Verhoeff Drive hill, and before you know it you are back in the transition area. Run:
The run course will take place on the paved neighborhood streets of the Clemmons West neighborhood and will out and back in nature. There will be an aid station serving water at the turnaround.
Finish line party: Celebrate with your family and friends and take in your accomplishment!

The mission of She Tris is to create a welcoming and supportive triathlon environment for women and girls who want to complete a triathlon, regardless of their level of experience. By tackling the challenge of triathlon, we believe our participants will feel empowered to take on other challenges in life, be it personal or professional, and that the impact of She Tris will reach beyond the finish line into the lives of these women and those they influence along the way.
