Laura Widgett is a professional opera singer, voice coach, and holistic healer based in Vancouver, BC. With over a decade of experience performing and teaching across Canada, Laura bridges the worlds of vocal science and energetic healing, showing how the physiological and emotional aspects of the voice are deeply connected.

Her teaching blends evidence-based vocal technique, breath and resonance science, and somatic healing practices that restore balance to both the body and the voice. Through her work, Laura has developed a unique approach that helps individuals release tension, regulate the nervous system, and find confidence through vocal expression.

As the founder of The Healing Lounge and Nova Voice Studio, she integrates the art of performance with the practice of presence—helping singers, actors, and professionals alike rediscover their authentic voice and use it as a tool for transformation.
