She Shoreham Panel - Career Change

We haven't hosted a panel for a while and we know this one will be a goodie!

We have the amazing Sharon Remington and Phili Ritchie talking to us for our next installment about all things career change.

Sharon spent over 3 decades in the Corporate World and after the passing of her mother in late 2022, she felt the need to start living and to do something in her career that was more aligned to her values. After various conversations with Sarah Tobin whom Sharon met at She Shoreham, and a course in Brighton, she became an EFT practitioner in May 2024. Starting her own business 'I'm Alright' has given Sharon the freedom and opportunity to do something that she is passionate about. Sharon hasn't looked back…….

Phili used to be a primary school teacher, nurturing young minds and fostering creativity in the classroom. Phili worked in schools for 9 years until life really shook her up and she needed to re-evaluate - big time! After a lot of change, growth and challenges, Phili swapped children for dogs and now runs a successful dog walking business Paws Assured. Having recently rekindled her creative side, her newest venture Soul Makes offers arts and crafts workshops and tutorials.

For Phili, It has been so rewarding to see her business grow and also how she too has grown and flourished as a person - navigating the life of self employment!

Through her latest venture Soul Makes, Phili can express her creativity and share her handmade creations with others, combining a love for art and craftsmanship with a skill of teaching and communicating.
