Jennie, who has over 20 years of Mahjongg experience, teaches in thoughtful layers that connect the game to familiar concepts while honoring its rich traditions. Participants will learn tile identification, terminology, the NMJL card, Charleston, exposures, foundational strategy, and the flow of the game. This session serves as the ideal starting point for building a strong Mahjongg foundation.
July 15 | The (Next Level) Beginner & Rules
Reinforce. Refine. Play with Confidence.
Designed for players who have completed the first session—or those looking to strengthen their understanding of NMJL rules—this class focuses on applying what you've learned through guided play. Participants will practice game flow, table procedures, strategy, and decision-making in small-group settings while gaining confidence and consistency at the table. Jennie tailors each class to the group's needs, ensuring every player leaves with a deeper understanding of the game.
