She Leads Forward : Finding Your Voice & Building Resilience
About this Event
She Leads Forward: Finding Your Voice & Building Resilience
A conversation with guest speaker Coumba Kebe
Join us for an inspiring and interactive She Leads Forward gathering focused on resilience, confidence, and finding your voice.
What is She Leads Forward?
She Leads Forward is an organization created for high school girls to build confidence, develop leadership skills, make meaningful connections, and explore opportunities for their futures.
Our mission is to equip high school girls with confidence, leadership skills, and a support network to pursue their goals.
Through monthly meetings, guest conversations, workshops, and special events, we focus on four pillars:
- Communication: Finding your voice and learning to express yourself
- Confidence: Believing in yourself and stepping outside your comfort zone
- Resilience: Navigating challenges, setbacks, and uncertainty
- Exploring the Future: Discovering careers, opportunities, and new possibilities
What to Expect at This Meeting
We’re excited to welcome Coumba Kebe for a conversation about resilience, speaking up for what you believe in, and finding the confidence to pursue your goals.
Coumba will share experiences from her journey, including her decision to run for public office, the challenges she’s faced, and the lessons she’s learned about perseverance and using her voice.
This isn’t a speech or a political campaign event. It’s an informal, interview-style conversation designed to help high school girls learn from real-life experiences, ask questions, and reflect on their own goals.
During the meeting, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Meet and connect with other high school girls
- Hear an honest conversation about confidence, challenges, and resilience
- Ask questions and share your perspectives
- Learn how to advocate for yourself and find your voice
- Enjoy snacks and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere
No prior involvement with She Leads Forward is necessary. Whether you’re outgoing, still finding your confidence, or just curious about what comes next, we’d love for you to join us!
This event is intended for high school girls in grades 9–12.
