Returning to Kinawley after 45 years Traditional Irish Music and Song has been at the forefront with Shaskeen for the last 5 decades under the leadership of Tom Cussen and are still going strong! With eight core members, the band has made seventeen records, touring extensively throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America. There are very few bands playing traditional music and song in Ireland today that has the heritage, cultural context, longevity and experience of Shaskeen, A band of skilled musicians with a great variety of tunes and songs with a fierce and collective drive and mighty energy. This is one concert not to miss!Full bar facilities and doors open 7.30 for 8pm.
