The Sharon Cultural Council and Sharon Recreation are excited to bring back the 3rd Annual Chalk Art Festival on Sunday, May 31 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sharon Town Hall.https://sharonma.myrec.com/info/activities/program_details.aspx?ProgramID=30004
Come participate in or watch as the Town Hall area is transformed into a vibrant outdoor gallery. Artists of all ages will create colorful chalk murals across the pavement, turning the space into a celebration of creativity and community.
In addition to the Chalk Art Contest, there will be plenty for families and attendees to enjoy. We’ll have food trucks, music, free face painting, lawn games, and a community chalk space where anyone can grab some chalk and create their own drawing just for fun. Free event for all!
Registration is now open to participate in the Chalk Art Contest, which includes four new participation categories to provide wider recognition across ages and skills:
- Professional Artist
- Adult Artist
- Family / Team Collaboration
- Youth Artist
Each category will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, including cash prizes and gift cards, thanks to the generous support of our local sponsors: Dedham Savings, Sharon Orthodontics, Sharon Landscape, IMAGE Studios, Burn Boot Camp, Hakki Asian Fusion, and The Needle Group.
