Fairfield’s own Sharon Bousquet returns to the Paradiso stage after a long stint away from her beloved Iowa home. Bousquet lives in the artist colony of Arden, Delaware, a magical community founded in 1900 by a sculptor and an architect as a utopian summer home for leftists, artists, dreamers and believers in a Georgist Single Tax system of governing. Sharon has been the Music Director for CSL Delaware (www.centerforspirituallivingDE.com) for the past 7 years, and fronts 3 bands as well as working solo as a singing guitarist. She brings all the feels. With a powerful alto voice imbued with resonance that hits your heart and triggers “God-bumps” at every turn, Sharon Bousquet is returning to Iowa with an upleveled skill set and a setlist of new material to explore.This birthday concert is a rare opportunity to hear a singular voice capable of combining deep skill with words and a fine guitar, with a growing body of Spirit-minded songs to encourage and inspire.
