All Ages | Lectures, Crafts, and More
Celebrate sharks with us and Sharks4Kids ambassador, Marissa DeBonis in a day full of crafts, learning, and exploration!
Schedule
10:00am - 2:00pm | Fin-tastic Headbands + Ask Anything
Throughout the day, drop by our coloring station and build your own shark fin headband. While you’re hanging around, be sure to ask our educators and volunteers any and ALL of your questions!
12:00pm - 2:00pm | Touch Tank
Fish are friends…NOT FOOD! Well, sometimes. Stop by our touch tank to meet some of the animals that build the foundation of our ecosystem.
12:30pm - 1:30pm | Sharks 101 Talk and Make a tooth! RSVP REQUIRED
Are you a kid who maybe doesn’t know a lot about sharks…yet? Get introduced to the basics of this diverse group of fish. Explore their amazing abilities and craft your very own tooth from clay!
Fee: Free | *Parking fees collected 8am-4pm across Jones Beach State Park. Empire Passes also accepted.
Outdoors/Indoors?: Indoors and Outdoors.
Weather: In the case of inclement weather, all activities will be indoors.
RSVP: Not required for most programs.
