WE are so happy to be having Shari Wolke, an L Graduate with Distinction (Dressage Show Judge) at our October Dressage Show in Rapid City. Shari will be with us for a clinic Friday and as our Show Judge on Sat!
Shari has been judging horse shows throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio for the past 15 years. Shari began her dressage judging career at just 24 years old, becoming one of the youngest participants to pass the L Exam.
She has been accepted into the U.S. Dressage Federation’s “Small r” program and will begin the process of becoming a USEF/USDF Licensed Dressage Official in 2026.
A USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, Shari has successfully competed through Intermediate I and trained several horses to the FEI level. She is an FEI trainer, clinician, and coach, giving clinics annually in Michigan, Indiana, and South Dakota, and is also certified through the American Riding Instructor’s Association (ARIA) in both Dressage and Recreational Riding.
Shari is deeply committed to giving back to the sport, serving as Region 2 FEI Youth Coordinator and Chef d’Equipe for Region 2’s North American Youth Championship’s Young Riders, Juniors, and Children’s teams in 2024 and 2025.
She has recently retired her Prix St. Georges Thoroughbred, Lord Kenmer (“Kenny”), and her Intermediate I partner, CA Davign (“Vinni”), and now focuses on coaching riders of all ages and breeds. Shari also owns two promising young Hanoverian FEI prospects — Wred Ryder, a 3-year-old, and Dancing Willow (“Dani”), a yearling by Dubarry out of a Widmark x Londonderry mare.
