WHAT IS IT?
A clothing swap is a free exchange of gently used clothing and accessories. No money changes hands and there is no strict limit to what you can bring or take. We encourage folks to mindfully take what they need. We’ll also have light refreshments.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Our swap is for people of all genders and body sizes.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The swap is free! We don't want availability of funds to be a barrier to participating.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Bring your gently used clothing and accessories to the event (or connect ahead of time to arrange an earlier drop off). Stay and browse. Try things on. Bring a reusable bag to take home what you'd like! Meet cool people! Or just come for the refreshments!
There will be limited space for trying on clothes so trying items over what you’re wearing may be a good option. We recommend wearing light foundation garments (a thin top and bottoms/leggings) if that works for you.
WHEN SHOULD I COME?
The nature of a swap is that it evolves over the course of the event. You can come at the beginning and stay the whole time or come later. Most people tend to come within the first two hours.
WHAT CAN I BRING?
Gently used clothing and accessories that no longer spark joy for you. Belts, shoes, hats, and more are welcome.
A note about condition - we want folks to bring things to the swap in wearable condition. And bring a reusable bag! Don’t have clothing to bring? That’s okay! Bring your friends too!
PLEASE DO NOT BRING:
Clothing or items that are dirty, stained, have holes, covered in pet hair, etc.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE LEFTOVERS?
Leftover items are donated to a local charity.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We need awesome volunteers to help us make this event a smashing success. From setting up to welcoming attendees and everything in between, your energy will be a game-changer. Ready to lend a hand?
