We have a full day planned on Sunday, October 26th, as the members and friends of St. Paul's and Grace Lutheran Churches celebrate Reformation Sunday together!
Reformation Sunday celebrates Reformation Day, October 31st, 1517, when Martin Luther sent his 95 Theses on grace, indulgences, and the love of God to the Archbishop of Mainz and subsequently posted them to the door of All Saints Church in Wittenberg - sparking a reform movement in the Church which would become the Lutheran Church.
9:30am Sunday School Lesson at St. Paul's in Cordova
10:00am Kids' Trunk or Treat at St. Paul's in Cordova
10:45am Pre-Service Music Begins at Grace in Easton
11:00am Festival Eucharist (Holy Communion) at Grace in Easton
Following worship at Grace Church in Easton will be a meal. We are hosting an "International Buffet," where we invite everyone to bring a dish to share - any dish with an international flair! Celebrate Reformation with sausage and sauerkraut, guacamole and tostadas, and anything else you can come up with!
The International Buffet is free for all, but we will have the opportunity for freewill donation. This will be a fundraiser for the mission outreach team to purchase children's coats for approaching cold weather.
