We hope you and yours can join us for our annual toy drive kickoff event on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Onsite, $10 and your toy donation(s) get you into our event where you can:
- Drop off a toy or three! 😊
- Have some awesome sweets and baked treats!
- Enjoy some tasty food!
- Check out some onsite raffle prizes (buy a ticket to get a chance to win)!
The toy donations will find a new home with some very appreciative folks who are facing challenges this holiday season.
We are hoping to get enough donations to spread the cheer for all of the following:

La Rabida Children's Hospital
Mutual Ground 8n Aurora
Crisis center of South Suburbia in Tinley Park
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago
Advocate Children's Hospital of Oak Lawn

Is the toy collection deadline December 7, 2024?
Our event on December 7, 2024, marks the return to our annual celebration, which is the start of the final push to collect as many toys as possible.
This is a fun afternoon with raffle prizes and drawings! Santa also pays a visit too!
It's a great opportunity for kids of all ages to get a photo with him!
There will also be delicious food and baked goods for a door charge of $10 and a toy donation. For the Christmas holiday, we are organizing toys to be distributed at various points up through December 21, 2024.
We are also open to donations all year round!

What types of toys are accepted?
The organizations accept new toys, specifically those of quality you'd present to your own family and friends' children. The following toys cannot be accepted:
- Toy guns or knives
- Stuffed animals (many organizations avoid them due to hygiene concerns, especially if they get wet).

Do toys need to be wrapped?
They do NOT need to be wrapped! Organizations need to clearly view the toys to allocate them to the appropriate age group. So, no need to worry!
Bernie will also be happy to record any toy donation messages you want to make onsite. In honor of a loved one or to you kids that inspire you to count your blessings... anyone you wish to honor!
