SHARE Oxford Repair Cafe Sunday 17 November 14:00-17:00

SHARE Oxford will be hosting a Repair Cafe for electrical, electronic, mechanical and adhesive repairs, bike repairs, sewing, darning and jewellery (restringing) repairs on Sunday 17 November from 2-5pm at Makespace on Aristotle Lane.

About this event

Bring along your broken items in need of repair and one of our fabulous volunteer repairers will take a look and - if possible - show you how they can be fixed.

Repair Cafés are free community events where skilled volunteers help people learn how to fix their own items to save them from ending up in landfill. The focus is on skill-sharing and an enjoyable ongoing learning process. If you'd like to learn how to do sewing or darning repairs yourself, or how to maintain your bike, please book yourself a slot and come along.

Tea and cake will be available. Our services are free but we do have overheads so donations to the SHARE Oxford charity are most welcome.

Please book your tickets here. As we are a voluntary service and we'd like to help as many people as possible, please only register for one slot per guest. If you book additional slots these will be deleted.
If you find that all the slots are booked please email us at [email protected] to let us know what you'd like to bring along for repair and we can advise whether we are likely to be able to accept drop-in guests on the day.
