It's summer and the contents of your wardrobe don't give you good mood vibes?
Tired of all the same old clothes but skint?
Eco-conscious enough to not want to buy new crappy stuff?
Come to our next Share & Repair in Handsworth Park on Saturday, the 18th July 2026 from 1pm - 4pm at the Sons of Rest Building in Handsworth Park.
How it works: It's the proper old school mutual aid and community based clothes swap, so:
NO, we won't charge you a tenner to walk through the door,
NO, we won't judge your clothes and give you tokens
YES, you can bring and take as much as you want (be kind and considerate though)
YES, you can bring holey, ripped and broken clothes and textiles (we can help you fix them, make them into something else or you can donate them)
Love making textile art or reworking old clothes? We will have some inspirational books and materials and helping hands to get you going.
You may also bring your own crochet, knitting, sashiko, sewing project and just come for coffee company and the good craic.
This is a free community event organised by the Friends of Handsworth Park.
We currently don't have any funding, therefore donations for snacks, refreshments and material are very welcome, bu everyone is welcome to join if you can donate or not!
Please share and spread the world, bring your friends, uncles, colleagues, sisters, cousins, parents, neighbours (and maybe your dog too!)
