Shaped by Wildlife: Stories of encounters, harvests, and traditions is a community storytelling event hosted by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game in collaboration with Arctic Entries. ADF&G invites individuals from diverse backgrounds—community members, hunters, gatherers, conservationists, and everyday nature lovers—to share personal, true stories about interactions with wildlife that have shaped their lives.Shaped by Wildlife 2025 also features "Stories of the Road" a collection real-life accounts from drivers who have been involved in a moose-vehicle collision or a near-miss.
