Shape and Strengthen FEA Members' Collaboration with LCR CA

Come together with Fair Education Alliance members at the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority for a collaborative and inspiring half‑day session dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families across the region.

This event brings together two important areas of work—Early Years and Employment & Skills—reflecting the reality that the foundations laid in childhood are deeply connected to long‑term opportunity, wellbeing, and life chances.

You’ll begin with a 1‑hour briefing from the Combined Authority’s Employment & Skills team, offering insight into current priorities, new initiatives, and opportunities for partnership. For FEA members working across transitions, youth employment, careers, tutoring, parental engagement, and community development, this session will provide valuable context and potential areas to align or collaborate.

The second part of the morning focuses on a 1.5‑hour Early Years and Best Start in Life listening and learning session, designed to surface member perspectives, challenges, insights, and examples of promising practice. Your contribution will help shape ongoing work across the region, ensuring the voices of practitioners, charities, and system partners are central to strategic development.

We will end with an informal networking lunch, giving members time to connect, share ideas, and build relationships across the Early Years and wider education and skills ecosystem.

Whether you’re working directly within Early Years or across later phases of learning and progression, this session offers a chance to learn, influence, and strengthen collaboration across the Liverpool City Region.
