This Month the Shanty Sessions theme is exploring and celebrating sea songs of Europe
Songs in varied languages very welcome, as well as songs written in or about regions of Europe, or stories relating to
The Session passes song leading, teaching, singing and performing around the room
When it gets to you, you have your moment teach the crowd how the song goes, or what our part may be if its a call or response, and so on. The crowd will follow the lead of whoever is leading that song, and obscure songs always welcome
Non-theme sea songs and shanties welcome as always also
Singing kicks off from 8, and we gather upstairs beforehand
