Two days of intense Shamanism training.
The focus of this workshop is how to develop and trust our communication skills to bring information from other realities and communicate with our ancestors.
This is an intense workshop, so be prepared to work hard. I do not believe so much in note-taking. I believe in practice. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to bring information from other realities.
WHAT IS A SHAMAN? It is known that a Shaman is a person who has the ability to see and spirit travel to the Spiritual World at will becoming a bridge or a messenger between the physical world and the Spiritual World.
HOW DOES THIS HELP? One of the primary guiding principles for the Shaman is that any problem, illness, or disharmony in the physical world relates directly to the soul and to energy. Therefore, problems of the soul or energy can be treated in the Spiritual World. The healing that takes place in the Spiritual World is reflected in the physical world. The role of the Shaman is to bring back pertinent information to the client, work in the Spiritual World to heal a person’s soul, and thus assist healing on the physical, energetic, emotional, and mental levels.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE SHAMAN IN THE MODERN WORLD? In this millennium, a Shaman is not usually the spiritual leader of their community as it was in ancient times. A modern Shaman is working on behalf of her/himself, family, pets, household, friends, community, and ultimately globally. In some circles, the term “I am a Shaman” is frowned upon. This is strictly a personal choice on the topic of “labeling”.
DURING THIS WORKSHOP THE MAIN FOCUS IS TO MASTER THE SHAMANIC TECHNIQUES, SO WHEN YOU GO HOME YOU CAN PRACTICE BY YOURSELF.
We will learn and practice the basic shamanic techniques so you can empower your life and your spiritual practice.

We don’t offer refunds because we need to get everything ready ahead of time. Tuition includes the workshop, water, tea, and cookies in the morning.
Payment options:
Option 1. Tuition of $600. One Early Bird payment of $600 is due by September 5th, to fully register and save your space.
Option 2. Tuition of $622 in 2 payments. One payment of $322 is due by September 5th to save your space, and one payment of $300 before or by 9/15.
Option 3. Tuition of $630 in 3 payments. One payment of $210 is due by September 5th to save your space. The second payment of $210 is due before or on 9/15, and the third payment of $210 is due 9/18.
Parent and child package:
Children between 6-17 years of age who can behave in an all-day class are welcome to join us as long as they are taking the class with an adult. This class is a great way to teach your children natural remedies. The cost for the parent and child package is $888. Please contact Jenny for payment details.

THE TEACHING TEAM:
Instructor and Maestra of the tradition: Ixtoii Paloma Cervantes
The Curanderismo Tradition of Mexico is the Ancient way of bringing the body, mind, emotions, and soul back into a state of balance. Customarily, an elder Curandera(o) teaches the tradition in oral form. Ixtoii Paloma Cervantes is an elder, instructor, or “Maestra” of the Curanderismo Tradition and also a full-time Curandera. She was born and raised in Mexico into the tradition. She started working full-time as a Curandera in 1986. Then, 12 years later, in 1998, she moved to California, where she kept her practice and started to teach Mexican Shamanism or Curanderismo and other spiritual modalities. Now, not only does she teach in California but also in other states and countries. This workshop in Arlington, Virginia, offers a rare chance to learn directly from her, as these teachings are not available online and are part of an oral tradition meant to be shared responsibly.
Teacher's Assistant: Jenny Perez, Curandera
Jenny is a graduate Curandera of Paloma Cervantes at Ixtoii Institute of Shamanism and Curanderismo. She works as a full-time Curandera in Arlington, VA.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Paloma is a Mexican Shaman who believes that "medicine plants" are helpful to some people only when used properly in ceremonies. The use of any consciousness-expanding plant or animal medicines should only be used with the strict and loving guidance of an experienced facilitator. She does not allow the use of any plants, brews, ceremonial tobacco, recreational drugs, alcohol, cannabis, etc. in her workshops or healing ceremonies. Please do not use these before or during her events and services. If you do so, you will be asked to leave the event immediately and without a refund. For medicinal plant or animal medicine guidance, please arrange for a private consultation to discuss your particular needs and expectations.
