Shamanic Day of the Dead Work Shop

We gather in honor of our lineages, in honor of our ancestors, and in honor of our lives.

We seek to know more, to understand the nature of our relationships with our lineage and our ancestors. We journey into non-ordinary reality and find guidance and support from our Spirit Guides.

We do this together, in Sacred Space, where understanding and healing emerge more easily InCommunity.

Shamanic Day of the Dead 3-Series Class

Thursdays October 3, 10, and 17 from 6 - 8 PM.

Is an inner longing asking you to delve more deeply into your lineage? Are you curious about your relationship with a departed relative? Are you drawn to the traditions of Dia De Los Muertos, All Hallows’ Eve, All Saints Day, Samhain, and Halloween which honor the departed?

For an evening each week, we gather in Sacred Space to create a simple Day of the Dead doll of an ancestor, then communicate with them through Shamanic Journeywork.

Week 1, October 3

• Closing the Circle and Introductions

• Brief intro to Shamanism and Journeywork

• Shamanic guided journey to receive InSpirations to be used in the project.

• Creative art time

• Wrap-up, Opening the Circle

Week 2, October 10

• Closing the Circle, Check-in, and Sharing our creations

• Shamanic guided journey to receive InSpirations on our ancestors to be used in the project.

• Creative art time

• Wrap-up, Opening the Circle

Week 3, October 17

• Closing the Circle, Check-in & sharing our creations

• Shamanic guided journey to receive InSpirations from our ancestors as we learn to Commune with their dolls.

• Class wrap-up, Opening the Circle

Notes:

• Flat wooden craft-quality skeletons will be provided (similar as on flyer)

• Attendees may want to spend additional craft time at home

• No shamanic or journeywork experience required. All will be Guided!
