🍀Let’s Sham-ROCK the Park! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and shake off those winter blues by searching for Sham-ROCKS at Woodland Park March 14th-17th, 2026. CPRD will be placing 100 St. Patty’s themed painted rocks throughout Woodland Park, but we need your help! Help us by painting rocks to be sham-ROCKED and “hiding” them throughout the park. Take your family and friends hiding and hunting for Sham-ROCKS to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!If you are interested in helping, please register for this free event, and you will receive information on how to pick-up your take-home Sham-ROCK craft kit. Sham-ROCK craft kit includes 2 rocks, 1 set of white, black, and green acrylic paint, and a paintbrush.
Rocks need to be placed in Woodland Park by March 14th and continue through March 17th.
If you just want to help paint rocks, and want us to hide them, please return your finished work to the Parks and Recreation Office by March 13th.
Sham-ROCKED Rock Hunt begins March 14th and continues through March 17th. This independent and free activity gets you outside and moving to kick off the Spring season. Find a Sham-ROCK, share it, keep it, or re-hide it! Share your Sham-ROCKED experiences on our Facebook!
