About EmJ Jenkinson

EmJ's practice is rooted in traditional Hatha yoga, which she studied at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India, and influenced by 20 years of practice across a variety of yoga modalities. Her class blends activation with ease, using intentional breath work and dynamic sequences to awaken both body and mind, and creating a space for practitioners to turn inward and find calm awareness amid intensity and deep relaxation. Through asana we create space—not just physically, but energetically—cultivating the ability to find peace with discomfort on and off the mat. Whether moving through vigorous vinyasa or settling into restorative savasana, EmJ encourages students to release tension and trust the yogic path to positive energy, mindful awareness, and the cultivation of inner peace.
