Join us for an enchanting backyard performance of Twelfth Night under the water oak! Charleston’s Absent Friends bring Shakespeare’s gender-swap comedy to life with mischief, mistaken identities, and a few tricksters thrown in.

🎟️ $10 admission supports local theater and grants you access to the show and all the evening’s delights.

🎭 Seating opens at 3:30 PM, show begins at 4:00 p.m., and the laughs wrap up by 6:00 PM.

Costumes encouraged. Mischief inevitable.

Please take note of the following reminders to ensure a great experience.

• If you are able, please bring your own chair or blanket; there are limited folding chairs available on a first come, first serve basis.
• You are welcome to bring drinks and snacks; please be sure to dispose of any trash before you go. We recommend visiting one of the neighborhood restaurants or markets!
• "Doors" open at 3:30 for seating; please line up along the side of the building (by the book mural) to allow Charleston's Absent Friends to check your ticket.
• We recommend arriving early to shop the bookstore, since it will be closed during and after the show.
• There will be port-a-potties available for use; in-door restrooms can be found at Commonhouse Aleworks, behind the bookstore.
