For the 2025-2026 season of the Capital Classics “Shakespeare Book Club,” we turn to LOVE with the theme of “Shakespeare’s Famous Lovers (& Others!).” We’ll talk about Lovers we know, Lovers we think we know, and Lovers we might not know very well at all!

We're celebrating the 12th anniversary of our Shakespeare Book Club with the West Hartford Public Library!
West Hartford Public Library and the Capital Classics Theatre Company team up to bring you the Shakespeare Book Club. Join Artistic Associate and Professor of Theatre Geoffrey Sheehan in discussions of Shakespeare’s great works of theatrical literature.
The Shakespeare Book Club is now hybrid (in-person and on Zoom)! To join or for other inquiries, email [email protected]
Discussions are held on the first Monday of each month from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Held in-person at the Noah Webster Library’s Board Room and online through Zoom.
