The next Shaker Supper of the season will be held at 6pm in the 1830 Brick Dwelling dining room where the Shakers enjoyed their communal meals.For an additional treat - arrive early at 5:30 for a stroll through the Village gardens before gathering in the Brick Dwelling to grab a drink before the program and dinner begins.
The evening features Kathleen Lynch, Curator and Collections Manager at Hancock Shaker Village, who will regale us with anecdotes about Shakers and communal living.
Chef John from the Great Cape Baking Company has developed a delicious Shaker-inspired menu for the evening with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
