"Shagboa" a FREE Balboa & Collegiate Shag practice! This is a time for folks to share ideas, collaborate, and help eachother improve their shag & Balboa dancing. It's not a class- some experience with either dance from is required. First hour Shag, Second hour Balboa.
This is a 2-hour practice on random Saturdays. The monthly schedule may be wonky depending on holidays, dance events, and my availability.
The practices are held in the dance studio at the MLK Library (downtown). The studio is in the basement, has mirrors, and you do not need to have a library card (but you should get one).
Come join us! The practice will be what we make of it- so bring ideas!
*Note that there is an 8 person capacity for the space, so if you come late, you might not be able to join.
Feel free to invite folks who have some knowledge of Shag and/or Bal and who want to contribute to a group practice.
If you behave like an asshole, you are not welcome!
