Step into the archives, uncover stories and bring them to life through shadow puppetry and storytelling!
About this Event

This programme is for young people aged 11 - 18.

Step inside Grimm & Co and become a story-keeper of the building's hidden history. Across six magical sessions, you'll uncover real archive treasures - old photographs, a newspaper from 1910, and more!

Learn techniques in paper cutting, story boarding and design moving shadow puppets... then breathe new life into them using shadows, light and your own imagination!

Then, you will share your ideas with a professional artist to turn your work into a brand new art installation.

No writing experience or craft skills needed, just curiosity and a willingness to listen to stories hiding in the dark!

IT WOULD BE PREFERRED IF PARTICIPANTS WERE AVAILABLE FOR ALL 6 SESSIONS, BUT WE KNOW HOW LIFE IS, SO JUST GET IN TOUCH IF YOU'D LIKE TO DISCUSS.
