Goths in California have Bats Day. Goths in Colorado have Lakeside Takeover. Now us east coast goths have the Shadow Carnival at Busch Gardens Williamsburg! Ride some roller coasters, see some shows, and have fun with your friends in a safe environment. Since this takes place in an amusement park, all ages are welcome! Depending on the success of this event, this may become a yearly thing!Goths of all persuasions welcome! Whether you be Trad, Pastel, Gothic Lolita, Elegant Gothic Aristocrat, Deathrocker, Casual, Creepy-Cute, Nu, Batcave, Darkly Inclined, or a friend of a goth who was invited, you are invited to join us! (be sure to dress comfy though, Busch Gardens is a little hilly)
NO TICKETS WILL BE PROVIDED. You must buy either a Date Specific or Any Day ticket, a Fun Card, or a Membership before attending. The park is cashless, they do have cash machines at the park but make sure you have a debit card or digital pay.
Keep in mind that this is an unofficial event organized by a few people. This is not run by Busch Gardens, it is just a goth meetup at an amusement park. We are not affiliated in any way with Busch Gardens. Please respect all park guests, staff, and rules. Busch Gardens has the right to refuse guests. Dress in your best goth attire, but please keep it within the guidelines of their dress code. No chains or large spikes are allowed, nor are any articles of clothing with any offensive words or graphic photos.
