In a new Temple tradition, we dedicate the last Shabbat of every November to recognize the rich history and heritage of Jews from Arab lands. A prominent Canadian of Moroccan-Israeli heritage, Mr. Elarar is President of the Canadian Sephardi Federation and a respected leader in both Judaica scholarship and technological innovation. He has represented the Sephardic community in diplomatic, cultural, and interfaith initiatives, and has written extensively on the experiences of Jews in Arab countries.

Dans le cadre d’une nouvelle tradition au Temple, nous dédions le dernier Shabbat de novembre à la reconnaissance de l’histoire et du patrimoine des Juifs originaires de pays arabes.
Personnalité canadienne d’origine maroco-israélienne, M. Elarar est président de la Fédération Sépharade du Canada et un leader respecté tant dans l’érudition judaïque que dans l’innovation technologique. Il a représenté la communauté sépharade dans des initiatives diplomatiques, culturelles et interconfessionnelles, et a abondamment écrit sur l’expérience des Juifs dans les pays arabes.
