Sgraffito Christmas Decorations - Pottery Class

Have a go at the impressive ceramic technique 'Sgraffito' and hand make your own decorations, just in time to hang them up for the festive season.

Join us at Creative Bloc for a fun Sunday afternoon of ceramic art. Grab your friends (or make some new ones!) and enjoy an afternoon of crafting and relaxation. This is a great opportunity to unwind from the week and get in touch with your creative side.
Level up on the usual pottery painting experience and learn how to apply coloured slip or underglazes and use different tools to achieve striking, intricate designs with the sgraffito technique on raw clay. You'll be working with 3 precut clay decorations that are just the right consistency for you to paint and scratch your own unique designs onto. No experience necessary, we will guide you every step of the way and will provide lots of samples for inspiration too.

**This class is suitable for ages 12+ but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and both must book a place on the class as we are limited for space.**

At the end of the class your decorations will be left at the studio to be fired and glazed by studio technicians, ready for you to collect in approx 2 weeks - in plenty of time to hang on the tree or around the house for the whole Christmas season.
