Luxembourg has been rapidly developing as a European hub for NewSpace. Within this exciting context, we are thrilled to announce that SG[Luxembourg] will be held for the very first time this year, under the headline “Small Country on Earth, Big Nation in Space” !

Young professionals and students aged 18 to 35, who are dedicated to shaping the future of the space industry, are warmly invited to this event. This is a unique opportunity to network, share ideas, and discuss how Luxembourg is pioneering the space industry of tomorrow.

The event will feature a range of activities, including keynote speeches from industry leaders, panel discussions with experts, and interactive workshops.

Participants will also have the chance to engage in hands-on workshops and collaborate with peers on innovative solutions to current challenges in the space sector.

Key questions we will explore include: Why is it advantageous to create a space start-up in Luxembourg ? How to weight in space exploration from Luxembourg ?

For this event, SGAC is proud to partner with the University of Luxembourg and Universeh (European Space University for Earth and Humanity), the European space University.

SG[Luxembourg] 2024 will feature three dynamic Working Groups (WGs), each focusing on the development of space activities in Luxembourg. Students and young professionals will have the unique opportunity to engage with experts on the following topics:

● Unlocking Space Resources: Opportunities and Challenges

● Ensuring the sustainability of space operations

● Cultivating Space Talent: Building Luxembourg’s Space Ecosystem

Each WG will consist of a roundtable discussion with esteemed experts from the space sector, providing a platform for in-depth conversations and collaborative problem-solving.
