Join SFA Gardens for the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series featuring Jennifer Tucker, sole owner and operator of Jensfarm Maples in Manchester, Tennessee. With over 300 varieties growing on site, Jensfarm has become widely known as a highly reliable source of Japanese maples in the southeast region of the United States. Tucker has over twenty years of self-taught knowledge and experience in horticulture, including grafting Japanese maples. She is a 2012 graduate of the Tennessee Master Nursery Program.A plant raffle will follow the presentation. Parking is available at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet Street in Nacogdoches or next door at the Raguet Elementary School.
The Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series is held on the second Thursday of every month. Attendance is free, however donations to support the lecture series are gratefully accepted. For more information, email [email protected] or call 936-468-4129.
