Sexual Wellness at Every Age: Evidence-Based Solutions for Women

Join us for a unique class led by Dr. Sonjia Kenya, Miami's favorite sexologist, professor of medicine at the University of Miami, and host of the Sex in South Beach podcast.

Dr. Sonjia will lead an interactive discussion about evidence-based, non-hormonal sexual health interventions. The sexual health benefits of acupuncture, hypnosis, laser, meditation, sensate focus exercises, and yoga will all be discussed, and addtionally Dr. Sonjia will facilitate a 15-minute activity demonstrating how to stimulate the five senses to organically increase desire. About Dr. Sonjia:

Dr. Sonjia Kenya is an Ivy League-educated sexologist, yoga instructor, medical professor, and author of the book Sex in South Beach. Her obsession is developing playful programs that empower adults to have easy, fun, and informed experiences that lead to better sex. As an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami, she develops solutions to sex problems and educates physicians on sexual health. In her downtime, she volunteers at women’s shelters and lives with her husband and son in South Beach.
