Join us for an important educational seminar on Sexual Assault, designed for both community members and healthcare personnel. In partnership with the Michigan Forensic Examiners and The SafeCenter, this presentation will cover key topics including understanding the many forms of sexual assault, consent and when it cannot be given, current statistics and prevalence, what a medical forensic exam involves, how to care for a sexual assault patient, and local resources available for support. The event will take place on April 10 at 12:00 PM in the Memorial Healthcare Auditorium (826 W. King St., Owosso). Doors open at 11:30 AM and lunch will be provided.
