Sewing Repair Cafe

In addition to the full repair cafe happening on Saturday hosted by the NRV TimeBank in Christiansburg (see our other post), we are co-hosting another Sewing Repair Cafe next Wednesday at Blacksburg Farmers Market!
Give your clothes a second life!
Bring up to 2 clean garments or other textile goods to our Repair Café and let skilled volunteers help you fix them—for free! We’ll not only repair your item but also show you how to do it yourself, building your confidence and skills for the future. We will also have free mini sewing kits you can take home.
Reduce waste, save money, and learn something new—one stitch at a time!
