Skill level: confident beginner (you have a sewing machine and know how to thread it and make a straight seam.)
Skills learned: making a fully lined bag, designing your own patchwork exterior, Japanese Sashiko embroidery stitch.
Students should bring:
* Sewing Machine, cord, foot pedal, manual if you have one
* Thread
* Basic presser foot
* Extra sewing machine needles (just in case)
* Extra bobbin (just in case)
* Seam ripper (just in case)
* Snips
* Fabric scissors
Students welcome to use studio supplies such as: cutting notions, board, ruler, rotary cutter, and iron.
If you have a machine but don’t yet feel confident operating it, consider booking a private sewing session with Vod before the workshop so you can get the most out of your class experience.
