Sewing Machine for Beginners

This 4 week course is designed for people who have never used a sewing machine before, a true beginner course. You will learn the basics of how to use and take care of a sewing machine. You will get to practice differnt types of stitches, practice cutting, and constructing a sewing project. A small class will allow for lots of individual attention and instruction. By the end of the class you will complete a pillow case and will likely have a few other smaller makes along the way.

Everything you will need for this project will be provided in the price of the class. You can come as you are and just enjoy diving into the art of sewing. Please try to make sure you can attend every class session.

Class is 6-7:30 on 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18

The class is located inside Red Bird Thread Co. upstairs at The District Exchange. The elevator is not currently working, so you will have to walk up stairs.
