Mama Huck’s Creations & Design is a small business owned by Patti Huckabee and her daughter Katelynn Huckabee. The duo offers a variety of services such as sewing and personalizing items with embroidery, sublimation, and vinyl. While they typically conduct custom orders, the duo is excited to be presenting sewing lessons at TRAHC.
The lesson will consist of making a basic apron. Participants first will learn about the sewing machine, patterns, cutting fabric and sewing fabric. Participants will leave with a product created the day of the class. Individuals must provide their own sewing machine, 2 yards of cotton fabric (1 yard each of different material if you so choose), scissors, pins, tape measure, iron, & seam ripper. We cannot wait to sew with you!
This sewing class will meet Thursday, September 11 from 12-4pm in the Lucille Cook Multimedia Studio (518 Pine Street, Texarkana, TX 75501) at TRAHC’s ArtSpace.
