Bring your projects. Learn new skills. Get unstuck.
This is a relaxed, office hour–style sewing workshop where you can:
- learn basic machine sewing
- use our sewing machines independently
- work on your own sewing projects
- get help with mending or alterations
- ask questions and troubleshoot problems
- receive guidance from an experienced sewist
Whether you’re hemming pants, repairing clothing, learning your sewing machine, starting a creative project, or finally tackling your pile of unfinished ideas, this workshop is designed to support you wherever you’re at.
Perfect for:
- beginners wanting more machine practice
- people working on alterations or repairs
- creatives needing sewing support
- students continuing projects from previous classes
- anyone wanting dedicated time to sew in a supportive environment
Feel free to bring:
- clothing to alter or mend
- unfinished sewing projects
- fabric or patterns
- your own sewing machine (optional)
Sewing machines and basic tools will also be available to use during class.
No formal experience required.
Small class sizes help keep the environment collaborative, approachable, and hands-on.
Studio Environment
RavenFlux Studios is a small creative workshop space designed for hands-on learning and making. Open labs are intentionally kept small so everyone has room to work and ask questions.

Class is held at RavenFlux Studios in NW Pasadena, CA 91103 — near the Fairoaks Ave area. Free street parking is available. Exact address and any arrival notes will be sent via email after you register.
